Located approximately 3.5 hours south of Sian Ka'an Village, this beautiful lagoon is definitely worth a visit. It is also known as La Laguna De Los Siete Colores (The Lagoon of Seven colors) due to the seven blue hues that glisten atop its fresh water surface.

Here you can take boat, yacht and sailboat tours or simply enjoy its natural beauty from land. You can also learn about the Cenote Azul (Blue Sinkhole) which is a large body of water right next to Laguna Bacalar with a delicious restaurant serving meals prepared from local ingredients.

You may choose to visit Bacalar Lagoon by yourselves (we can help you with directions) or a tour can be arranged for your party when booked in advance.
